2. Scope of Services

Citygirl Weddings & Events LLC provides wedding planning, coordination, and event design services. Specific services, deliverables, and timelines are outlined in individual client contracts.

We act as planners, designers, consultants, and strategic partners. Unless otherwise stated in writing, Citygirl Weddings & Events LLC does not directly provide vendor services such as catering, rentals, floral execution, entertainment, or venue operations. All vendor services are performed by independent third parties.

3. Inquiries & Booking

Submitting an inquiry through our website or communicating with our team does not reserve a date. Event dates are secured only upon receipt of a signed contract and required retainer.

Citygirl Weddings & Events LLC reserves the right to accept or decline any project at our discretion.

4. Fees, Retainers & Payments

All fees, retainers, and payment schedules are outlined in the client’s contract.

  • Retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Late payments may result in paused services or additional fees.

  • Client is responsible for all agreed-upon payments, including planning fees, design fees, management fees, and reimbursable expenses.

  • Vendor payments are separate and paid directly by the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Cancellations, Postponements & Date Changes

In the event of cancellation, postponement, or rescheduling, all payments made remain non-refundable. Postponements are not considered cancellations and may require a revised contract and additional fees based on availability, scope changes, and timing.

Citygirl Weddings & Events LLC cannot guarantee availability for new dates.

6. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a successful planning experience, clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and timely information

  • Respond to communications within a reasonable timeframe

  • Adhere to established timelines and deadlines

  • Designate one primary decision-maker

  • Ensure vendor payments are made on time

Delays in communication or decision-making may impact timelines, availability, and final outcomes.

7. Vendors & Third Parties

All vendors are independent contractors. While Citygirl Weddings & Events LLC may recommend trusted professionals, we are not responsible for vendor performance, availability, delays, pricing changes, or outcomes. Any disputes with vendors are solely between the client and the vendor.

8. Design & Creative Direction

Design services are collaborative and subjective in nature. Inspiration boards, mockups, and renderings are conceptual and intended to guide the overall aesthetic.

Final design outcomes may be influenced by budget, availability, logistics, venue restrictions, and production considerations. Revisions are limited to those outlined in the client’s contract.

9. Force Majeure

Citygirl Weddings & Events LLC shall not be held liable for delays, disruptions, or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, weather events, pandemics, government restrictions, venue closures, illness, or emergencies.

10. Limitation of Liability

Citygirl Weddings & Events LLC’s liability is limited to the amount of fees paid for services rendered. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to emotional distress, lost profits, or guest-related incidents.

11. Indemnification

Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Citygirl Weddings & Events LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Guest behavior

  • Vendor actions or omissions

  • Venue incidents

  • Alcohol service

  • Event-related injuries or damages

12. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, timelines, materials, and creative concepts developed by Citygirl Weddings & Events LLC remain our intellectual property and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written consent.

13. Photography & Marketing Use

Citygirl Weddings & Events LLC may use photographs, video, and event details for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes unless the client provides written notice requesting otherwise.

We are mindful and respectful of privacy while celebrating our work.

14. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Personal information collected through this website is used solely for communication and service-related purposes and is not sold or shared with third parties. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for additional details.

15. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes shall be handled exclusively in Cook County, Illinois.
